Company History
Miro Cabinets was founded in 1988. The founders’ vision was to create authentic kitchens that were different from anything else on the Quebec market. Therefore, they crossed the Atlantic to get inspiration from European architecture and lifestyle. The Mont-Sainte-Anne residential complex was the first major project that lauch Miro Cabinets into the spotlight. Over the years, the L’Ancienne-Lorette-based company has specialized in high-end projects for individuals and has completed some commercial projects for banks and offices. As technological advances and market needs evolved, several phases of renovation, and even a move, were necessary to expand the company and enable it to meet growing demand. It is now in the Duberger Industrial Park, in QuebecCity, that the company designs and manufactures all its projects. As the years passed, the owners developed new passions and decided to sell the business.
In 2014, the business was handed over to two new owners. They have invested in cutting-edge technology to transform Miro into a 4.0 factory. Thanks to the technological tools deployed, the company was able to carry out its very first large-scale multi-unit projects: Complexe de la Garde and Façades du Mesnil. This wind of change has enabled Miro to respond perfectly to the needs of individuals, real estate developers and general contractors, all under one roof.
In 2019, four new owners bought Miro Cabinets. Thanks to their family bond, a new culture was established. From the very first months, a strong desire for modernization and optimization took hold. With the objective of offering exceptional customer service and top-quality products, several strategies have been put in place, including staff restructuring and major investments in digital equipment and software.
Since its inception, Miro has manufactured more than 15,000 kitchens and bathrooms. The company has created quality products that have kept pace with technological advances and the evolving needs of its customers. As a result, the company has expanded its range of services and gained the trust of its customers. Today, Miro Cabinets serves a diversified clientele ranging from homeowners to general contractors and real estate developers.
